A course that has proved very popular with golfers of all standards following a complete redesign in 2006.
Montado is set amongst working vineyards and the natural woodland of the region. Montado is a fair course with few if any blind shots. The fairways are reasonably generous though they do tighten up on a few holes and some approaches to the greens require a good degree of accuracy.
Fun holes are the 9th which requires a second shot across a lake if you are going to attack the pin. While the 17th and 18th provide a strong finish. The 18th is particularly striking as it is an island green, however it the sloping green itself that may cause you the most problems.
"Montado golf course was ok. Open course not difficult at all, good course to start with so you get warmed up alittle"
